It was a busy year in Hochhausen ... perhaps the busiest to date since we've taken this house on as a project. A long time since our last post, but this should bring you up to date with a nice slide show.

Keep track of progress to the restoration of the Malick Family Estate in Hochhausen, Germany. This farmhouse circa 1758 is being restored for the use of the Malick family and friends.

Wow! So different from when I first saw the place in disrepair, November 2004! No more overgrown orchard and the remodeling really reveals what a great house that place is! I'm glad that it's staying in the family, keeping that link to our German heritage. I look foreward to visiting again someday.
